New Generation Ho-Pac®

Allied’s extreme Ho-Pac®—a new generation of compacting featuring maintenance-free sealed bearings

Allied Construction Products, LLC is now offering the Model 300B, 500B and 1000B new generation Ho-Pacs. The new models now deliver more impact energy, longer base plates, a four-function valve, three to four motor options and all-new maintenance-free sealed bearings*.

The key feature is that these extreme new generation Ho-Pacs use sealed
bearings. These sealed bearings, which have a patent pending, are pre-lubricated and sealed at the factory. As a result, the sealed bearings require no maintenace (no greasing) under normal operating conditions.

For all three models (Model 300B, 500B and 1000B), the eccentric housing protects the sealed bearings from excessive dust and debris. For that reason, these extreme Ho-Pacs take on the “role” of a “green machine” as the sealed bearings contain all the lubrication to protect the natural environment from leakages or spillages.

The extreme Ho-Pac “green machines” are manufactured to support Allied’s focus on the environment. Historically, without proper maintenance hydraulic equipment attachments tend to leak grease and hydraulic oils. Through the development of the extreme Ho-Pac sealed bearings, Allied has found a solution to build a product that is sensitive to the environment.

Rugged. Versatile. Reliable. The Model 300B, Model 500B and 1000B are small, but pack plenty of power and perform a variety of jobs efficiently. Designed for use on mini-excavators (excluding 1000B), rubber-tired backhoes and trenchers with backhoe attachments, these models are ideal for narrow trench work.

The advantages of the all-new extreme Ho-Pacs include:

• New bearings provide maintenance-free (no greasing) lubrication

• New eccentric housing design encloses and protects motor

• Larger eccentric with mass further away from shaft centerline helps         to increase impulse and compaction force

• Longer base plate provides greater compaction area

• New hose routing for better protection against sheared or damaged hoses

• Three or four motor options offer versatility in matching carriers

• Worry-free “plug-and-go” installation

• Tough-coat hoses prevent cuts and extend wear-life

• Four-function valve controls flow, pressure, regeneration and oil flow direction

The Allied Model 300B, Model 500B and 1000B Ho-Pacs operate off of the machine’s own hydraulic system and reaches out to work anywhere the machine’s boom can reach. And, the Ho-Pac interchanges with the machine’s bucket in minutes. An optional swivel-top mounting bracket permits precise positioning of the Ho-Pac without repositioning the carrier.

Allied pioneered the concept of the hydraulically-operated vibratory compactor/driver. Using an eccentric, rotating weight that creates vibration and impulse energy, the carrier-mounted Ho-Pac provides the needed forces for effective soil compaction and driving.

The extreme Ho-Pacs are distributed and serviced through more than 350 Allied Distributors throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, but are available in other world markets.

*Patent pending.
